Emirates College of Technology invites qualified applications for the position of Hardware Technician

Successful candidates must have the following:

Bachelor Degree or two year diploma in Computer science or any related field.
 

Strong knowledge and experience of the following:

  1. Trouble shooting and maintenance of personal computers and related devices (Minimum two years of experience).
  2. Installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and configuration of operating system and application software in personal computers.
  3. Installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and configuration of related PC hardware devices such as printers, Network Interface Cards etc.
  4. Configuration and maintenance of shared networking resources.
  5. Answering the support related queries.
  6. Configuration and trouble shooting of wireless networks, TCP/IP, NTFS permissions and sharing Permissions.

Good communication skills.


Notes: A+ certification required, MCSE and CCNA are preferred.
